Product video production

Show what it does. Then show why it matters.

Product videos for hardware, software, and the things people hold in their hands: unboxing, setup, the feature that sells it, and the payoff.

What it is for

Three jobs this video does.

Product launch films

The ninety seconds that introduce a product to the world, for the homepage, the press page, and the campaign.

Setup and how-to videos

Short, clear, shot on the real thing, so support tickets drop and reviews go up.

Feature and use case films

One feature, one customer problem, one clear demonstration, for sales teams and product pages.

Proof

Made by us. Watch it.

A hanging pod filmed in three settings, a fitness machine shot like a short film, trucking software, a technical fabric, and a long-form use case walkthrough. Product video is about the object, so we light it, shoot it, and cut it like it costs what it costs.

Questions

Before you ask.

How much does a product video cost?

A one-day product shoot with a small crew, plus edit, color, and sound, produces a launch film and a set of short cuts, quoted as one package after a discovery call. Animated product explainers are $215 per finished second, about $13,000 for 60 seconds.

Do we ship the product to you or do you come to us?

Either. Small products come to our studio setup; large products, installations, and anything that needs its real environment we film on location. The Canopy series was filmed in backyards, an apartment, and Hawaii.

Can you make the video before the product is finished?

Yes, from CAD, renders, prototypes, or screenshots. We build the launch film so it is ready the day the product is.

How long should a product video be?

Sixty to ninety seconds for a launch film. Thirty seconds or less for ads. As long as it needs to be for a setup video, because the viewer is holding the product and wants the answer, not the pace.

What makes a product video convert?

Show the problem in the first five seconds, the product solving it by second fifteen, and the payoff before the end. Real hands, real light, no stock. Then cut versions for every place the product is sold.
