Global production
Crews where the story is. Paperwork included.
She Creates Change was filmed in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, India, Vietnam, and Bangladesh. We flew in crew from London, Sri Lanka, and India, and built out local crews in every location. Six countries, eight languages, one film. Those crews are still ours.
Most nonprofit shoots are closer to home: our teams in Colorado and Florida put a crew in any US city, no visas required. And when your story lives somewhere hard to reach, we already know the fixer, the permit office, the visa timeline, the release forms, and the insurer. You get a local crew that answers to us, and your donors see the work, not the logistics.

What we make
Assets for the global nonprofit.
Nonprofit video production pricing tiers.
Every registered 501(c)(3) gets a dedicated discount, because a limited budget should never be the barrier between a vital cause and the audience that needs to hear it. Four ways to buy, each quoted in writing before any work starts:
Tier 1
Your footage, our edit
Already have footage from the field, or a folder of photographs? We cut it into a donor film with voiceover, music, captions, graphics, and color, styled to your brand. Post-production only, quoted from the material you send, with the nonprofit discount applied.
Tier 2
Campaign story
One shoot day with one beneficiary and one staff voice, a two-minute page cut and a 30-second cut for ads and social, captions and thumbnails. Quoted per shoot day plus post, with the nonprofit discount applied.
Tier 3
Animated explainer
A 60 to 90 second animated film that explains the program or the ask, priced per finished second at the discounted nonprofit rate, with script, voice, and two revision rounds included.
Tier 4
Year of stories
Three or four shoot days across the year, cut into the annual report film, the gala piece, and a monthly short for social, all from footage you own. Quoted as one annual number so it fits a grant line.

What a nonprofit film has to do.
Make one person real
Donors give to a person, not a program. A fundraising film leads with one beneficiary the viewer can picture, shows the change the work made in that person's life, and lets the numbers follow. That means filming with informed consent and dignity, in the language the person speaks, with a crew that has done it before: our documentary and nonprofit crews have worked in 27 countries, and She Creates Change, made with Room to Read, reached 21 million viewers on Discovery and TLC.
Say exactly what a gift does
The ask is a sentence, not a montage: what a specific amount buys, said plainly, with the campaign page on screen at the end. We deliver a page cut of about two minutes and a 30-second cut for ads and social from the same shoot, so each can be measured on its own: dollars raised on the page the film sits on, watch time, and completion rate. For a December year-end appeal, the conversation starts by August.
Respect the budget and the footage
Every registered 501(c)(3) receives a dedicated discount, on animated work priced per finished second and on filmed stories quoted per shoot day plus post. You own the footage afterward, so the interviews from one trip become next year's annual report video and the volunteer recruiting film. Giving is part of how the studio was built: more than $180,000 donated to nonprofits and counting.
Questions
Before you ask.
Do you offer nonprofit discounts?
Yes. Every registered 501(c)(3) receives a dedicated discount on every kind of video we make, from a two-minute donor appeal to a broadcast documentary. Giving is part of how the studio was built.
Can you edit footage we already have?
Yes. Send the footage, or even just photographs from the field, and we handle the post-production: the edit, voiceover, music, captions, graphics, and color, styled to your brand. It is the fastest and least expensive route to a donor film, and the nonprofit discount applies.
How much does a nonprofit video cost?
It depends on scope: animated pieces are priced per finished second, filmed stories are quoted per shoot day plus post, and the nonprofit discount applies to both. We give a fixed quote after one short call about the campaign, the audience, and the deadline.
What kinds of nonprofit videos do you make?
Fundraising appeals and year-end campaigns, impact stories from the field, gala and event films, annual report videos, program explainers, recruiting and volunteer videos, and full documentaries.
How do we make a fundraising video that works?
One person, one moment, one ask. Lead with a beneficiary the donor can picture, show the change your program made in their life, say exactly what a gift does, and end with the campaign page on screen. Keep the page cut around two minutes and make a 30-second version for ads and social from the same shoot. Film it with consent and dignity; donors can tell.
Can you film in the field, including internationally?
Yes. Our crews have filmed nonprofit work in 27 countries, and we handle the paperwork: visas, permits, fixers, translators, and releases. She Creates Change was filmed across six countries with Room to Read.
Which nonprofits have you worked with?
Room to Read (She Creates Change, seen by 21 million viewers on Discovery and TLC, and years of campaign films), Rocketship Education, Humane Colorado, Jack's Solar Garden, and Return to Dirt.
How long does a nonprofit video take?
About twelve weeks for a produced film, three weeks a stage, and field shoots are scoped per trip. For a December year-end appeal, start the conversation by August so the film is done before your donors' inboxes fill up.
What should we ask a nonprofit video agency before hiring one?
Ask who owns the footage afterward (you should), whether beneficiaries are filmed with informed consent and dignity, how the crew handles translation and local permits, what the nonprofit discount is, and how many cuts you get from one shoot. Then ask to see a film that raised money, not just one that looks good.
How do we measure whether a donor video worked?
Set the metric before the shoot: dollars raised on the campaign page the film sits on, average watch time, and completion rate on the platform where it runs. We deliver a two-minute version for the page and a 30-second version for ads and social, so each can be measured on its own, and we build the ask into the film so the viewer knows what to do next.
Let's talk about your mission.
The best partnerships start with a simple conversation about the impact you're trying to create.
