Six girls. Six countries. One film.
Dewmini grew a garden to stay in school. Keya took her harassers to the town leaders. Yashika learned karate to make her walk to class safe. Each story is filmed where it happened and animated where a camera couldn't go, then given to educators free, in eight languages. It began as six short films, one per girl, before becoming the feature.

The Moonshine crew
Everyone who carried a camera or a boom across six countries, and everyone who sat in a dark room hammering at a timeline, or took the 2 a.m. call from the other side of the world. Every name here earned it. Hundreds more did too across Room to Read, Nexus, Cineflix, and the animation teams: full credits at shecreateschange.org.

Global production
Crews where the story is. Paperwork included.
She Creates Change was filmed in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, India, Vietnam, and Bangladesh. We flew in crew from London, Sri Lanka, and India, and built out local crews in every location. Six countries, eight languages, one film. Those crews are still ours.
So when your story lives somewhere hard to reach, we already know the fixer, the permit office, the visa timeline, the release forms, and the insurer. You get a local crew that answers to us, and a producer who has done this before.
Full-service documentary production.
Story Development
Research, access, and narrative architecture: finding the film inside the mission.
Field Production
Nimble crews filming anywhere in the world, with the sensitivity real subjects deserve.
Animation Hybrid
Documentary and animation blended to tell stories cameras alone can't capture.
Post & Distribution
Edit, color, mix, translation, and versioning for festivals, broadcast, and campaigns.
Original Music
Songwriters, composers, and artists, plus the publishing, clearances, and sync licensing that come with them. "Who I Am" started here.
Where our work has aired
On screens people already trust.
What a brand-funded documentary has to do.
Stay a film
Brands and nonprofits fund most of the documentary work we make, and the film has to stay a film: real people, real events, a story that would hold up with the funder's name removed, and a credit rather than an ad. That is what festivals program and broadcasters buy. She Creates Change, made with Room to Read, screened at Tribeca X, SXSW EDU, and the San Francisco International Film Festival and won the Webby People's Voice award because it was a film first.
Be scoped like a production
Documentaries are budgeted in three parts: development, field production quoted per shoot day and per country, and post-production including edit, color, sound, and original score written to the cut. We set a fixed budget after development, so the number is known before a camera rolls. A short-form documentary typically runs four to six months from development to delivery; a series filmed across several countries runs a year or more.
Reach the people it was made for
A finished film is the start of the plan, not the end. We build the festival strategy, deliver to broadcast specification, and cut the versions the campaign needs: a trailer, a two-minute page cut, and the social pieces that carry the film to the audience the funder cares about. She Creates Change aired on Discovery and TLC and was seen by 21 million viewers; the campaign versions did the fundraising.
Questions
Before you ask.
What is a documentary film?
A film about real people and real events, made by observing and interviewing rather than scripting. It can run three minutes or three hours. The ones we make are funded by brands and nonprofits, and they stay films: a real story and a credit rather than an ad. She Creates Change, made with Room to Read, screened at Tribeca X and aired on Discovery and TLC.
What does documentary production cost?
Documentaries are scoped in three parts: development, field production quoted per shoot day and per country, and post-production including edit, color, sound, and original music. We set a fixed budget after development, so the number is known before a camera rolls.
How long does a documentary take?
A short-form documentary typically runs four to six months from development to delivery. A series or feature filmed across several countries runs a year or more. She Creates Change was a multi-country production for Room to Read that reached 21 million viewers.
Do you handle festivals and distribution?
Yes. We plan festival strategy and deliver to broadcast spec. She Creates Change screened at Tribeca X, SXSW EDU, the San Francisco International Film Festival, Manchester Animation Festival, and London Short Film Festival, aired on Discovery and TLC, and won the Webby People's Voice Award.
Can you film internationally?
Yes. Our crews have worked in 27 countries with local fixers, translators, and permits handled by us. Our documentary crews have filmed in Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Bangladesh, and Vietnam.
Do you make brand-funded documentaries?
Yes. Brands and nonprofits fund most of the documentary work we do, and the film stays a film: a real story, real people, and a credit rather than an ad. Room to Read's She Creates Change is the model.
Do you compose original music?
Yes. Original score is part of our documentary service, written to the cut, so the film never sounds like a library track.
Have a story worth telling?
Documentaries take time to do right. If there's a story on your horizon, the best moment to start the conversation is now.
